Agent website platform (Zillow)
The agent IDX website platform is an offering on the CRM platform. It's a website template interface with multiple design options (per order type). It uses MLS listings and is one way an agent can generate leads.
My role was centered around new design templates, re-skinning, and resolving UX issues for the platform.
Problem:
The website template platform was visually dated, lacked modern functionality, and was not responsive. Additionally, the platform could not accommodate external customer branding for customers or adapt to various photo sizes.
Solution:
Create new templates that can solve identified problems, research customer needs to define a future state, and define the viewport strategy.
Results:
New responsive templates that can accommodate customer branding.
Responsive website designs.
Improved management and display of customer photos.
Improved tie-in with agent sales leads from agent website to CRM database.
Marketing Editor
This project shows the UX process for designing a new cloud-based marketing editor interface. The Editor is used by Real Estate agents to customize marketing materials offered in the Design Center within the agent's CRM.
The CRM is SaaS and part of Trulia's (acquired by Zillow) agent toolset.
Problem:
The old editor was visually dated, confusing to use, and lacked a responsive design. Additionally with the acquisition of Trulia by Zillow the design language was incompatible.
Solution:
Create a new modern, responsive interface with a design language that fits the parent company’s visual style. Improve the UX across the board and introduce modern interaction patterns.
Results:
A new responsive editor that can accommodate corporate design language.
New information architecture and modern interaction patterns
New iconography in line with current trends
Improved UX on all editing controls including new editing capabilaties.
Marketing Center
The Marketing Center is an area within the agent CRM platform. It provides Agents with tools to create custom print and digital marketing material using the Marketing Editor and custom drip campaigns to schedule ongoing marketing touch points.
Problem:
The old Marketing Center was visually dated, lacked diverse templates, was confusing to navigate with no search available. Additionally with the acquisition of Trulia by Zillow the design language was incompatible.
Solution:
Create a new modern, responsive interface with a design language that fits the parent company’s visual style. Improve the UX across the board and introduce modern interaction patterns.
Results:
New home page design and improved functionality
Improved search and filtering for marketing materials
Improved product page layout, UX and functionality
New drip campaign design and UX for managing campaigns
Improved UX for product user flow and product tie-in to external print suppliers.
